The foodservice design and consulting firm Rippe Associates has added a team member and promoted another.

Sarah Johnson was hired as an operations project manager. Before Rippe, she was a clinical nutrition manager at Regions Hospital. She is a registered dietitian nutritionist with 18 years of experience in acute care hospital settings.

“Her expertise in healthcare systems, project management and extensive educational background will strengthen our healthcare team. We are thrilled to have such a talented new addition,” reads a statement from Rippe.

Then, Eric Goodrich was promoted to associate principal. In his first two and a half years with the higher education team, he was mentored by Terry Pellegrino, principal, who is transitioning toward retirement.

“His industry experience in both foodservice design and operations prepared him well for the role of leading the design team. We appreciate Eric’s contributions to our mission of providing ‘kitchens that work’ and look forward to the coming years,” says the company in a statement.
