A former leader at companies including Chick-fil-A and Miso Robotics is settling in on the service side of the business.

Today, May 14, Sam Brewer was announced as the vice president of field innovation at Parts Town Unlimited (parent company of OEM distributor Parts Town). In this role, part of the company’s Red Lightning division, he will aim to address key challenges and develop new innovations to support service technicians, states the press release.

He also will lead the team as they continue to build on Parts Town’s investment in new field innovation tools for technicians, dispatchers and parts procurement specialists.

In his prior positions, Brewer gained experience leveraging AI tools to support technicians’ specific needs—a mission Parts Town says will be continued and accelerated through Red Lightning’s resources.

“By continuing to invest in our field service innovations, Red Lightning will play a critical role in increasing first-time fix rates and getting parts faster, enabling greater efficiencies and cost savings for service companies,” says Emanuela Delgado, Red Lightning’s SVP of growth and innovation.

The Red Lightning team’s most recent release is PartPredictor—a digital tool using data and AI to identify the most in-demand OEM parts.
