Former Ruth’s Chris CEO Gets New Gig
Throughout his decades-long industry career, Miller also has worked for Red Lobster Inns of America, Casa Gallardo and Uno Restaurants.

Craig Miller was appointed today, March 26, as the CEO of Brio Italian Grille and Bravo! Italian Kitchen. In his new role, he will work to enhance both brands’ positioning, and to drive growth and “operational excellence.”
Besides Ruth Chris—where Miller held roles of president, CEO and later chairman of the board until his departure in 2008—Miller worked for Red Lobster Inns of America, starting in 1973, then Casa Gallardo and Uno Restaurants.
Now, Miller’s expertise will be pivotal in refining Brio and Bravo’s dining experience and expanding market presence, says the release.
“We are excited to welcome such a seasoned and dynamic leader to our team. His unparalleled expertise and strategic vision are poised to propel our beloved brands to new heights,” says Earl Enterprises CEO Robert Earl. “Craig’s extensive background across various dining concepts and his proven track record of financial and operational success will undoubtedly be an asset to Bravo and Brio restaurants.”
Meanwhile, Emily Bishop will continue to serve as chief operating officer for both Brio and Bravo. Bishop, together with Robert Earl and the executive team, will collaborate strategically with Miller to leverage both brands’ heritage while “infusing new energy and modern innovations into operations,” notes the release.
Brio Italian Grille currently operates 31 locations in the U.S., while Bravo! Italian Kitchen has 25 U.S. units. The two brands fall under Earl Enterprises’ umbrella along with Planet Hollywood, Earl of Sandwich, Chicken Guy! and Bertucci’s.
