TABLECRAFT’S DAVIS NAMES BURNSIDE AS SUCCESSOR

TableCraft Products Co. has announced that on Jan.1, 2011, David Burnside will assume the presidency of the 64-year-old firm. The promotion was announced by current Pres. and company owner Glenn Davis, who will move into the role of CEO and chairman of the board. Davis joined TableCraft in 1974, and became president in ’97. He grew the Gurnee, Ill., smallwares manufacturer through more than 36 years of innovation and new products.

Burnside started his foodservice sales career at San Jamar in ’89. He began his first tour with TableCraft in ’93; Burnside rose to v.p-sales before leaving the industry briefly in ’02. He was v.p.-sales at American Metalcraft from ’03-’07, before returning to TableCraft as executive v.p. As president, Burnside will oversee the launch of new products and possible expansion into international markets.
