Illinois Oil Recycler Absorbs East Coast Firm

Mahoney Environmental, a licensed EPA recycler of used cooking oil based in Joliet, Ill., has purchased Waste Oil Recyclers (WOR), a used-oil recycling company in suburban Philadelphia. The acquisition gives Mahoney direct service to its customers throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, and allows it to expand its cooking oil collection, recycling and other back-of-the-house service needs nationally. The firm also supplies grease-trap services to operators nationwide, servicing national and regional chains, as well as independent restaurants.
