ALLIED BUYING CORP. recognized outstanding member/dealers and suppliers at its spring conference, held in Washington, D.C. Supplier Awards for outstanding sales achievement in volume growth went to Carlisle Foodservice Products/Dinex Int’l., John Boos & Co. and Nor-Lake. Supplier Merit Awards were presented to Continental Refrigerator, Grosfillex and Libbey Cos. Outstanding Supplier Support honors went to Atlanta Fixtures & Sales, Hockenbergs, Penn Fixture & Supply and Singer Equipment. Singer also received an award for Volume Growth, as did Louis Wohl & Sons and Smith Housewares & Restaurant Supply. Volume Growth Merit Awards went to Bresco/Birmingham Restaurant Supply, Golden Light Equipment Co. and R.W. Smith & Co. ABC also welcomed incoming president, Dan Blaylock, Adams-Burch, who takes over from Jerry Hyman, TriMark USA. ABC is based in Lombard, Ill.
